Meet our pediatric dentists
Our doctors bring decades of specialized pediatric dental training to every visit. Both are board-certified by the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, hold hospital privileges at Phoenix Children's Hospital, and are active members of the AAPD, the ADA, and the Arizona Academy of Pediatric Dentistry.

Dr. Amy E. Ash
Dr. Amy Ash grew up in Arizona and has built her career around one goal: making dentistry a positive experience for every child who walks through the door.
She graduated summa cum laude from Northern Arizona University before earning her Doctorate in Dental Surgery, with cum laude honors, from the University of Colorado School of Dentistry — where she was also recognized with the Dr. Solomon Averbach Humanitarian Award and the Dr. David M. Child's Fellowship Award. After dental school, Dr. Ash spent more than three years caring for underserved children in downtown Phoenix, an experience that confirmed pediatric dentistry as her true calling. She went on to complete her specialty training at the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry.
Dr. Ash is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. Outside the office, she and her husband Jon are kept busy by their two sons, Andrew and Bradley, and the whole family loves spending time outdoors soaking up the Arizona sun.
Today, Dr. Ash leads care at Valley Pediatric Dentists — continuing the same gentle, patient-first care the practice was founded on.

Dr. Randall K. Lout
Dr. Randall Lout has practiced pediatric dentistry since 1984 and remains a familiar, trusted face for many of our longtime families.
A native of Oklahoma, Dr. Lout earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry, then completed his pediatric residency and Master of Science degree at the University of Minnesota, training at the University of Minnesota Hospitals and Hennepin County Medical Center. He is board-certified by the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, and has been repeatedly recognized as a “Top Dentist” by Phoenix Magazine. He has also served on multiple committees for the AAPD and the Arizona State Board of Dental Examiners, and continues to support the Medical Services Project, connecting school nurses with dental and medical care for children in need.
Dr. Lout and his wife Clara met in dental school and have two daughters, Alyssa and Gabrielle.
Dr. Lout continues to see patients on a part-time basis, providing a familiar face and the care our longtime families know and trust.
